Second General Meeting November 1st!

Join us as we talk about upcoming GLADES trips and new and exciting internship opportunities available to ecology students across the country! We'll talk about environmental issues locally and globally as we eat snacks! Come to the second Fall 2017 general meeting on November 1st! It will be from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in GC room 241A.

Trivia Night @109 Burger with GLADES October 24th!

Come out to 109 Burger to hang out with us as we play trivia games and get to know fellow ecology lovers! The food will be amazing and the company will be even better so don't miss this social with GLADES! This event will be at 109 Burger, 646 SW 109th Ave, Miami, FL 33174 at 7:15pm on Tuesday October 24th. We hope to see you there!

Night Kayaking and Refuge Visit November 4th-5th

Join us on an exciting trip as we visit Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge in Titusville Florida! We will be exploring the refuges many features during the day, including watching manatees, driving along the wildlife drive and walking Florida Scrub Jay trails. At night we will then go on a Bioluminescent Jellyfish Night Kayaking Tour! This kayaking experience is an amazing new way to explore Florida and actually touch bioluminescent jellyfish! Don't miss out on this opportunity as space is limited, first come first serve. Preserve Potluck November TBA

Our annual nature preserve potluck is still on! Please bring one dish that can be shared between 15-20 people. Lets enjoy the beauty of our nature preserve and have some feel good conversation. 

Hiking Trip December 12

End of the Year hiking trip! Hopefully in Big Cypress National Preserve, if not Everglades National Park. Guided tour with ranger!
